Far Infrared Sauna
What is infrared heat?
Far infrared is the part of the Sun’s light spectrum upon which all life depends, Photosynthesis, the process by which plants create energy, is dependant on Far Infrared rays. Without them no plant could live, and without them we would have no food. In addition, as with plants, Far Infrared heat also benefits us directly. When far infrared rays enter our bodies they are converted to energy, warming us up, a process which is most obvious when we stand outside on a sunny winter’s day. When the sun is shining on us we feel warmed, but as soon as a cloud gets in the way we quickly feel cooler. Why is this? The air temperature has not changed! What has changed, however, is that we are no longer receiving the benefit of the Far Infrared rays, these rays are also given off by the earth and even ourselves.
All aspects of health and beauty can be improved by the use of the Ultimate Sauna
We live in an increasingly toxic world - the World Health Organisation has stated that 95% of all diseases are caused by our diet and our environment. In that diet and environment are continually increasing levels of toxins, which some doctors now state is the root cause of all disease. According to Dr Sherry Rogers in her book with the mind - focusing title of “Detoxify or Die” the only way, proven with before and after data, to remove some of the worst of these toxins is with a Far Infrared Sauna. When we use the Far Infrared Sauna, whether for training or simply for relaxation, we will sweat, and in this sweat are some toxins that were in our body. The more we use the Sauna the more we get rid of the toxins, with the result that all areas of health can be improved, Health issues that have been helped by using Far Infrared heat include, but are not limited to:
- Pain Relief
- Improved heart function
- Clear and more radiant skin
- Silkier hair
- Weight control
- Cellulite reduction
- Anti - Ageing
- Improved fertility
- Improved sex drive
- Protection against serious disease
- Using a Far Infrared Sauna as part of your warm up, reduces the chances of competition and training injuries. Unlike a traditional Sauna, which heats the body at surface level, the Far Infrared Sauna heats the body to a depth of up to 5cm (2”), giving deep down heat to the parts you will be exercising
- Tissues heated in the Far Infrared Sauna and then stretched retain much of the increased length. Studies have shown that tissues heated to 45C and then stretched exhibit elongation of 0.5 - 0.9% that persists after the stretch is removed. Thus 20 sessions, for example, can produce a retained 10 - 18% increase in length of muscles/tendons so heated and stretched - a result which could not be achieved at normal body temperature of with a traditional Sauna
- Cardiovascular benefits can be obtained even without exercise. By heating to a deeper level the Far Infrared Sauna generates a greater response from the body, In order to dissipate the heat and so prevent overheating the blood vessels are dilated and the heart pumps blood round faster. This exercises the heart and improves the efficiency of the whole circulatory system. NASA uses this principle to give astronauts, who cannot exercise because of the lack of gravity, a no - exercise cardiovascular work out
- Recovery times from injury that you do not get reduced by using a Far Infrared Sauna. The increased blood flow rate provides greater amounts of oxygen and other required nutrients to be delivered to the injury site, which allows faster healing
